Only prescribed medications can be administered by school staff and wherever possible we would ask that you try to organise the timing of medication to avoid school times although we appreciate that this is not always possible because of the amount of doses required. Should your child require medication to be administered in school, please download a medication form from the website, or alternatively collect one from the school office. This should then be completed and handed in to the office with your child’s medication in the original container. We do have a fridge in the office where we can store antibiotics.
If your child has any emergency medications e.g. epi-pen, inhaler, this needs to be handed in at the office along with a care plan provided by the doctor / nurse. Medications should be changed when they are no longer in date.
